Natasha holds a Bachelor of Music as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia. Her post-secondary music studies were in oboe, piano and voice, during which time she studied choral conducting under James Fankhauser. She then continued her singing and conducting studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria.
During her university years, she sang with the UBC Chamber Singers, with Opera in Concert in Toronto, and with the Bach Choir in Salzburg, Austria. Since September of 2003, she has been singing with the Vancouver Chamber Choir, a professional choir under the direction of Jon Washburn.
Natasha teaches singing and piano in Richmond and Tsawwassen. She is the Music and Worship Director at Trinity Church in Point Roberts, Washington where she orchestrates regular choral events and performs solo benefit concerts. Natasha lives in Tsawwassen with her husband, Jonathan Quick and their two sons, Julian and Michael.
Natasha loves to orchestrate music with her hands, inspiring both chorister and audience to join her in a musical journey of the soul. Natasha has been Artistic Director of The Richmond Singers since September of 2004.
Elizabeth Oh ~ Accompanist
Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Music ( BM ) degree, major in Piano and has been playing the piano since she was 6, with her mother as her first teacher. She has been an accompanist for various choirs, for soloists, for students doing their instrumental exams or recitals and pianist for various events like school plays, weddings, church services.
Elizabeth teaches piano in Richmond and presently conducts their church choir and serves as pianist / organist for 2 churches.
